Mubarak Wakaso and Emmanuel Boateng start Black Stars training ahead of South Africa and Sao Tome games
The Black Stars of Ghana on Friday, February, 26 regrouped for training ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Ghana will be hosted by South Africa in Johannesburg before playing the final game against São Tomé and Principe at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The games have been scheduled for March 24 and 28 respectively with Ghana aiming to continue to smooth Afcon qualifier campaign.
After a week of break, the team reassembled at the La McDan Park on Friday to train.
Black Stars technical team has handed an invitation to China-based duo Mubarak Wakasso and Emmanuel Boateng.
The pair have been in the country after the end of the Chinese Super League.The former Spanish Laliga men start the training with their new teammates on Friday. At least a draw in remaining two games will qualify Ghana to the 2021 Afcon in Cameroon.
Black Stars lead Group C table with 9 points followed by South Africa with same points build-up as Sudan sit third with 6 points. Meanwhile, CK Akonnor has trimmed the squad for the upcoming games.
