Mudasiru Salifu resumes training with Asante Kokotoko after sideline due to injury
Asante Kotoko have received a big injury boost with midfielder Mudasiru Salifu spotted back in training after a spell on the sidelines.
The enterprising midfielder underwent surgery to correct a metatarsal injury that has ruled him out of action since the commencement of the league.
The 23 year old has been hampered by this particular injury since last year and the Porcupine Warriors will be excited at his return; but also hope that he stays fit for the remaining matches of the season.
It is however unknown yet whether he will be fit enough for the club’s immediate task against Al Hilal in the CAF Champions League.
Mudasiru joined Kotoko in July 2019 but has find time battling with injuries over his year stay with the Ghana Premier League outfit.
