Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools and Colleges Boys Soccer Competition postponed; checkout the new date
The date for the commencement of 2022 Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools and Colleges boys soccer competition has been changed due to a reason best known to the organisers.
The competition hasn’t been in session for two years now, mainly because of COVID-19 with the last edition held in early 2020 and was eventually won by Kumasi High School- who failed to cruise into this year’s edition.
The qualifiers were held two weeks ago and was wrapped up last Wednesday with the qualified 32 schools for the main competition revealed.
Initially, the date for the commencement of the competition was Monday, July 4, 2022 but Kickgh.com can exclusively disclose that, it has been rescheduled with the tourney set to begin on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 instead.
However, another speculations has it that, the National Sports Authority (NSA) have not reached any agreement as it stands with the Ghana Education Service (GES) for the competition to be held at the Baba Yara Stadium.
