Ghana coach Otto Addo gets near perfect squad for ahead of AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar

Ghana face Madagascar on Wednesday night at the Cape Coast Stadium for the first game of the 2023 AFON qualifying round.

Ghana coach Otto Addo has the full compliment of his squad ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar on Wednesday.

The Black Stars trainer is missing only two starters, Thomas Partey-who is out injured- and Alexander Djiku, who was excused to sort out personal issues.

Meanwhile, defender Joseph Aidoo has been ruled out of the game after picking an injury on Monday in training.

However, the rest of the team are fully fit with the likes of Kamaldeen Sulemana and Andre Ayew returning to the team after missing the World Cup playoffs against Nigeria.

Otto Addo invited 33 players to camp before giving Andy Yiadom a late call up to send the total to 34 stars.

Ghana will open her 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar at the Cape Coast stadium on Wednesday before travelling to the Central African Republic for the second game.

The Black Stars had a disastrous 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and will hope to make a return to the tournament to redeem their reputation.

The team after the AFCON qualifiers will travel to Japan for the Kirin Cup tournament.
