Arsenal told to find Thomas Partey replacement in January

Arsenal’s search for another new holding central midfielder is no secret, thus making former Newcastle United and Tottenham midfielder, Jermaine Jenas to advise the Gunners to bring-in a replacement of Thomas Partey in the January transfer window.

Partey scored the first goal when Arsenal defeated their north London rivals, Tottenham on Saturday as they defeated them 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium

The Ghanaian midfielder was also named the ‘Man Of The Match’ by the club’s supporters but Jenas believes the midfielder is unreliable and told the Gunners to strengthen their central midfield options in order to maintain their current explosive form in the English Premier League.

“You can’t rely on him,” Jenas said of Partey on Vibe with Five.

“If I was Edu that would be the first position I’m going for in January, or the summer [transfer window], because you can’t rely on him.”

The victory over Spurs was Arsenal’s seventh win of the season, which kept them atop of the Premier League table with Manchester City breathing down their necks after an emphatic 6-3 win over Manchester United at the weekend.
