Parma enter race for Ghanaian striker Dauda Mohammed as Cartagena talks stall

Parma have made contact with Anderlecht about the possibility of signing Dauda Mohammed this summer after talks with FC Cartagena stalled according to Kickgh.com.

Cartagena had been hopeful of confirming the permanent signing of Dauda imminently, but the Albinegros are struggling to agree terms with Anderlecht over a fee.

Dauda, 24, spent last season on loan in Spanish city of Murcia where he made 39 appearances for FC Cartagena, netted nine goals and provided three assist for the Segunda Division side.

KickGH has revealed that Parma could be ready to pounce as managing director of sports for the Crusaders Javier Ribalta, who has had stints as a football scout at Torino and then at AC Milan – is a big fan of Dauda and had already made contact with Anderlecht over a possible move.

In recent times top European clubs have also enquired about the deadly goal sniffer, though it remains to be seen whether they will intensify this interest.
