Ghana forward Richmond Boakye Yiadom makes injury return in Beitar Jerusalem win against Nof Haglil

Ghana forward Richmond Boakye Yiadom made a return from his injury to play for Beitar Jerusalem against Nof Hagalil in the Isreali top-flight league on Saturday.

The 28-year-old has been out of action for four weeks after picking up an injury in training.

The former Red Star Belgrade hitman missed Ghana’s World Cup playoff against Nigeria last month due to the injury.

Boakye Yiadom returned to action for Beitar Jerusalem in the 70th minute as they cruised to a 2-0 win against Nof Hagalil in a battle to avoid relegation on Saturday in the league.

Yarden Shua scored the first goal of the game for Beitar Jerusalem in the 67th minute before own goal from Eli Balilti secured the win for the away side.

Boakye Yiadom has scored five goals in 24 appearances for Beitar Jerusalem this season.
