Andre Ayew powers Al Sadd to victory in Qatar
Ghana international Andre Ayew scored in Al Sadd away win over Al Rayyan in the Qatari top-flight league on Wednesday evening.
Al Sadd recorded their third win of the season against Al Rayyan in the match-week eight encounter at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
Ayew opened the score for Al Sadd with a cool finish after tapping in a low-cross delivered by Baghdad Bounedjah on the 7th minute of the game.
Qatari attacker Akram Afif doubled the lead on the 51st minute before Steven N’Zonzi grabbed the consolation goal for Al Rayyan on the 56th minute.
Ayew enjoyed the entire duration of the game with a splendid performance against Al Rayyan.
He has scored four goals in his 12 game outings for Al Sadd in all competitions this season so far.
