Ghana forward Daniel Kyereh provides tenth assist of the season as St Pauli draw against Dusseldorf

Ghana forward Daniel Kofi Kyereh provided his tenth assist of the season as Bundesliga II leaders St Pauli were held by Fortuna Dusseldorf.

The 25-year-old served Marcel Hartel with the assist for St Pauli’s goal in the 47th minute.

But the leaders failed to hold on as Dusseldorf leveled through Rouwen Hennings in the 68th minute.

Kyereh has now contributed 15 goals in the Bundesliga II, scoring five goals and providing ten assists.

The Black Stars forward has been instrumental for the Hamburg-based club and they currently hold a four point lead over second place Darmstadt.

Kofi-Kyereh is likely to miss a couple of games in January due to the Africa Cup of Nations, which will be a big blow for the promotion chasers.

He made his Black Stars debut in the game against Ethiopia during the World Cup qualifiers.
