Ghana star Mohammed Kudus haunts Everton

Ghana star Mohammed Kudus went to Merseyside to haunt Premier League side Everton – a matter of weeks after the transfer window closed.

The Toffees thought they had a deal in place for Kudus, who skipped Ajax training to try to make the move happen, but the deal was ultimately snuffed out due to Antony’s move to Manchester United.

Kudus is still on Everton’s radar, but he appears to be pricing himself out of a move.

He caught the eye with a rocket in off the post against Rangers last week, and the same will be true on Tuesday night at Anfield.

Kudus scored the equalizer for the Dutch giants by blasting the ball in off the crossbar.

He would have been a huge asset for Everton had the transfer gone through.

The 22-year-old wanted to join Everton because he was being benched, but since the move fell through, he has seen more minutes and has been exceptional, scoring for fun.

Kudus has five goals and an assist in his last four games.
