Spezia Calcio open contract extension talks with Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi

Italian Serie A side, Spezia Calcio have opened contract extension talks with Ghanaian forward, Emmanuel Gyasi whose stay with them is due to end in 2023.

The 28 year old, due to his consistent and stellar output caught lots of interest from clubs notably US Sasuolo who were keen to snatching his service in the just-closed winter transfer window.

However, the Eagles have seen and felt his impact and are now willing to offer him another two years contract extension in the coming weeks which will keep him at the Estadio Alberto Picco until 2025.
Emmanuel Gyasi has been a regular starter this season in the Italian topflight having netted four goals in 24 matches, leaving them 14th on the league log with 26 points.
Though he is an Italian-born but has chosen to represent Ghana at national level where he made his debut against South Africa in the qualifiers but missed out on the squad in the just ended 2021 Africa Cup of Nations which was staged in Cameroon.
