Portuguese outfit Sporting Braga set sight on signing 3M Euros Ghanaian defender from Bordeaux

According to reports, Portuguese club Sporting Braga are among three European clubs ‘interested’ in signing Enock Kwateng from Bordeaux this summer.

The right-back was a key cog at the Gironde club last season, playing 29 games in all competitions and earning plaudits for his performances.

With those explosive performances the club were expected to exercise their option to extend the French-born Ghanaian star contract but it seems the juicy offers will make them ditch that plan.

FC Twente and Young Boys are all interested in signing Kwateng this summer claimed by Kickgh.com. Enock Kwateng joined Bordeaux in summer 2019 and could depart after three years.

Bordeaux failed to escape relegation after placing bottom of the French Ligue 1 tale last season. With their new fate, some of Bordeaux’s key performers could leave the club and Kwateng is one of them.

But it wouldn’t be a surprise if the 25-year remain in Ligue- which beginning of 2022-2023 season is scheduled for the first weekend of August. Bordeaux is understood to place a 3M Euros price tag on Kwateng.
