Manchester United set to open talks for Ajax midfielder Kudus Mohammed as Ghanaian interested in reunion with Erik ten Hag
Manchester United are set to open talks to bring Ajax midfielder Kudus Mohammed to Old Trafford this January.
The Ghanaian International joined Ajax in July 2020 and has become one of the best performers at the Johann Cruyff Arena over his two years stay with the Eredivisie side.
The likes of other top performers Antony, Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia, Frenkie de Jong have departed Ajax for more greener pastures over this period and Kudus Mohammed could have his turn of a transfer this January or summer 2023.
At the beginning of the season, Everton launched the attempt to bring the Ghanaian to the Goodison Park but failed, and prior to the 2022 World Cup Aston Villa reportedly showed interest in the attacking midfielder.
Kudus’ World Cup performance for his country Ghana has attracted bigger offers with the likes of Newcastle United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Barcelona and latest Manchester United showing huge interest in the Ajax man ahead of the January transfer window.

United are understood to be preparing to strengthen their midfield as two former ten Hag players Frenkie de Jong and Kudus Mohammed among those targeted though England World Cup ace Jude Bellingham has also been linked.
Manchester United failed in approach to sign Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona at the beginning of the season and it looks highly impossible this January after the midfielder reportedly ready to fight for his position at Camp Nou beyond this season.
United have been aware of De Jong’s stance at Barcelona and have hugely make Kudus Mohammed their top most priority in January revealed Daily Telegraph.
