German outfit Eintracht Frankfurt preparing €5million offer for Ghanaian-born Kelvin Yeboah

The promising whizkid has emerged as a top winter transfer target for the Deutsche Bank Park outfit following his exploits in the Austrian Bundesliga.

German top-tier side Eintracht Frankfurt have expressed interest in signing Ghanaian-born forward Kelvin Yeboah in the upcoming transfer window.

The 21-year-old who’s currently among the sought-after young attackers in Europe has appeared on the radar of the Bundesliga outfit following his scintillating output at Sturm Graz.

According to Kickgh.com, Eintracht Frankfurt are preparing an offer around the region of €5 million to secure the signature of the budding talented forward from Sturm Graz.

Yeboah has made 25 appearances for Sturm Graz and has managed to score fourteen goals and provided eight assists in all competitions.

He has opted to represent Italy at the international level despite his eligibility to feature for Ghana.

The nephew of Ghana and Leeds United luminary Anthony Yeboah earned a call-up to the senior national team of Ghana under Charles Kwablan Akonnor but he turned down the invitation to represent Italy U21 side.

Frankfurt are on the verge of losing forward Filipe Kostic to Inter Milan as the Serie A side have ready a €10 million January offer in exchange for the Serbian’s signature.

This means Frankfurt would need to cast a search for potential replacements with Randal Kolo Muani of Nantes on their shopping list for January transfer window.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed earlier this week that Frankfurt’s attempt to sign Kolo Muani could suffer a twist with the Bundesliga side planning a deal only in the summer instead.

And they could be faced with stiffer competition from AC Milan for Nantes’ striker Muani, La Gazzetta dello Sport further claimed.

With Inter Milan only looking forward for a January deal for Kostic, Frankfurt can not sleep over til summer and they need to sign a replacement next month to fill Kostic vacuum if he joins Inter with the German side lead by boss Oliver Glasner identifying Kelvin Yeboah as the man.

Glasner, Austrian, is a fan of the Ghanaian International who has been on red form for Sturm Graz in the Austrian Bundesliga.
