Ben Fokuo names final Ghana squad for FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup

Head Coach of Ghana’s female U-20 team (Black Princesses), Coach Ben Fokuo has assembled his final 21 players for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Costa Rica 2022 which kicks off on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.

The Princesses will be making their sixth appearance having participated in the 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018 editions.

The female U20 team advanced to the World Cup after beating Zambia, Uganda and Uganda and Ethiopia to book their sixth appearance.

Ghana’s U-20 women’s national team, Black Princesses, have been pitted in Group D of the 2022 FIFA Women’s World Cup against USA, Japan and the Netherlands.

The Black Princesses will play their first game against three-time champions the USA on 11th August, at the Alajuela Morera Soto.
