Celta Vigo vs Real Madrid confirmed lineups as Karim Benzema leads Los Blancos attack

After a lengthy international break, Real Madrid are back in LaLiga Santander action this Saturday evening, as they visit Galicia to take on Celta Vigo at Balaidos. Los Blancos are looking to bounce back after their 4-0 humiliation at the hands of Barcelona last time out, while the hosts are unbeaten in their last six home league clashes.

Celta Vigo boss Eduardo Coudet has made three changes from the side that drew 0-0 at home to Real Betis just before the international break, with Jeison Murillo, Javi Galan and Thiago Galhardo coming into the XI. Galan was suspended for the draw against Betis.

Celta Vigo XI (4-1-3-2): Matias Dituro; Kevin Vazquez, Joseph Aidoo, Jeison Murillo, Javi Galan; Fran Beltran; Brais Mendez, Denis Suarez, Nolito; Iago Apas, Thiago Galhardo.

Dani Carvajal has been left out of Real Madrid’s starting XI for this evening’s match against Celta Vigo, while Marco Asensio, Karim Benzema and Ferland Mendy are all back in the side.

Real Madrid XI (4-3-3): Thibaut Courtois; Lucas Vazquez, Eder Militao, David Alaba, Ferland Mendy; Toni Kroos, Casemiro, Luka Modric; Marco Asensio, Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior.

Real Madrid ran out 5-2 victors at home to Celta Vigo back in September, but it looked like it was going to be a tricky game at the start. The Galicians twice took the lead in the opening 31 minutes, with Karim Benzema having cancelled out Santi Mina’s fourth-minute opener, but it was a second-half onslaught from Los Blancos, who scored four goals after the half-time break.
