Willian to leave Chelsea after describing 3-year contract extension demand as ‘impossible’

Willian is tipped to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season after failing to sort out differences with the West London over contract extension.

The Brazilian’s contract expires this summer, and has request a three year contract extension but Chelsea knee offering him a two year deal, and a year remainder is what it’s still drawing the two parties apart, which in return, the for Shakhtar Donetsk star will leave the club end of this season.

The Chelsea no. 10 has conceded that his departure from Stamford Bridge is inevitable after describing earning his demand of three years contract extension from the Blues as‘impossible’.

He told Expediente Futebol: “Really a very beautiful story that I built at this club, I have a very special affection for the fans, for the people who work there and I identified myself a lot here.

“Everyone knows that my contract ends now in a few months, so the renewal is really a difficult thing to happen.

“I think it will be very difficult for me to renew because Chelsea offered me two years, I asked for three and it ended there, we didn’t talk anymore, we didn’t negotiate anymore.

“Three years – Chelsea said it would be impossible, so for now theres this difficulty, but nothing is impossible.

“We don’t know what can happen, suddenly we could make a deal and get it right. But what I can say today is that my contract is going over and I will be free to negotiate with any team.”

Willian, joined Chelsea from Anzhi Makhachkala in August 2013 and has become a fans favorite his his arrival in London.

The 31-year-old has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Tottenham as the midfielder is free to open negotiations with any club of his choice.
