PSG 2-1 Tolouse: Hakimi and Messi score two stunning goals from outside the box

Paris Saint-Germain came back from going a goal down, to defeat Tolouse 2-1 at the Parc des Princes on Saturday night.

A booming long-range free-kick from Branco van den Boomen beat Gianluigi Donnarumma in the PSG net and gave the hosts an early advantage in the first half.

But it wasn’t long before Achraf Hakimi brought the Parisians back on level terms, with a stunning left-footed effort from 25-yards out.

With Paris on the ascendency, the home side continued to attack in the second term, with seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi following the Moroccan’s lead, scoring an equally sumptuous finish from outside the box.

The result puts PSG eight points clear of Marseille at the top of Ligue 1, with the pair set to go head-to-head on Wednesday in the French Cup.
