Inter Milan open talks with Chelsea about new Lukaku loan
Inter Milan have opened talks with Chelsea about a new loan for Romelu Lukaku.
La Gazzetta dello Sport says Graham Potter’s side are not interested in Lukaku returning to Stamford Bridge – with Inter now attempting to extend his loan for a further campaign.
The 29-year-old, for his part, is believed to be keen to stay at the San Siro and is not considering moving to any other club.
The news comes just days after a half-fit Lukaku missed four huge chances as Belgium crashed out of the Qatar World Cup at the group stages.
After edging past Canada 1-0 and losing 2-0 against Morocco, Belgium needed results to go their way but could only draw 0-0 against Croatia on Thursday.
