Ancelotti: Richarlison among best of a generation; I did not know Gonçalo Ramos
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has declared Richarlison among the world’s best young players.
Ancelotti worked with the Tottenham striker at Everton and says the Brazil ace is among the best of a new generation of players.
He told Il Corriere dello Sport: “He is a modern striker, not very thin with the feet, but he has fantastic timing and is very coordinated.
“He is among the best. We are in a transition phase: we are running out of Ibra, Ronaldo, Suárez, Cavani… Messi and Benzema are 35, Lewandowski will meet them next year.
“The new ones are Mbappé, Richarlison, Haaland, Álvarez and Núñez. I did not know Gonçalo Ramos.”
