Premier League- Liverpool vs Arsenal confirmed lineups as Trossard dropped for Saka

Liverpool host Arsenal at Anfield for Matchday 30 clash as visitors probe to extend lead on Premier League table. Man City’s 4-1 thrash of Southampton on Saturday means the points gap has been reduced to 5 as Arsenal travel to difficult venue Anfield.

A win for the leaders will send them 8 points clear above Pep Gaurdiola’s side but Man City will have a game in hand.

After fielding a much-changed side in their midweek stalemate at Chelsea, Jurgen Klopp reverts to a more familiar line-up as Liverpool’s big guns return to face the Premier League leaders.

Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Cody Gakpo are all restored to the starting XI after starting on the bench at Stamford Bridge.

It means Darwin Nunez, Roberto Firmino, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip and Kostas Tsimikas drop to the bench at Anfield.

Arsenal have made one change from their 4-1 victory over Leeds with Bukayo Saka coming in for Leandro Trossard.

Rob Holding partners Gabriel at centre-back again with William Saliba still out with a back injury.

Liverpool XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Jones; Salah, Jota, Gakpo.

Subs: Kelleher, Gomez, Thiago, Milner, Firmino, Elliott, Tsimikas, Nunez, Matip.
