Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is confident that Eduardo Camavinga will recover in time to face Manchester City on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old was one of only three Madrid players that kept their place from the first leg for a La Liga clash against Getafe on Saturday night.

Ancelotti made eight changes, opting to rest the likes of Karim Benzema and Vinicius before the second leg at the Etihad.

However, Camavinga gave Madrid a scare when he limped out of the 1-0 win after he jarred his knee.

The French midfielder played at left-back in the first leg, due to the ongoing absence of Ferland Mendy, and he played a key role in Madrid’s goal.

However, after initial fears that he would miss the clash at the Etihad, Ancelotti says the injury is ‘nothing’ and Camavinga will be fit.

‘It’s just a blow and he will recover fast,’ said the Italian.

E’veryone should be ready to face Manchester City. Camavinga has a knock, but he should be fine.
