OFFICIAL: Ronald Koeman takes office as Dutch national team coach again

Ronald Koeman officially signed a contract with the Dutch Football Association today and became the coach of the Dutch national team.

The Dutch official tweeted: “Signed! Today Koeman officially debuted as the coach of the Dutch national team. Welcome and good luck! Time for new oranje memories!”

The 59-year-old Koeman played for clubs such as Groningen, Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona and Feyenoord in the player era. After retiring, he began to work as a coach. He served as an assistant coach in the Dutch national team and Barcelona in the early days. Coached Vitesse, Ajax, Benfica, PSV, Valencia, Alkmaar, Feyenoord, Southampton, Everton and Barcelona.

This is Koeman’s second time coaching the Dutch national team. He previously coached the Oranje from 2018 to 2020, but left under the call of his old club Barcelona.
