Olivier Giroud is open to a return to the Premier League once his AC Milan contract expires

Olivier Giroud is reportedly open to a return to the Premier League next season and would prefer a move to a London club.

The French international is set to become a free agent in the summer when his contract with AC Milan comes to an end, after spending two years in Italy.

And the World Cup winner could be set to make a return to English football, with a number of England’s top-flight clubs supposedly interested in signing him.

According to the Sun, Giroud is already planning out his next move ahead of his deal finishing at the San Siro.

The same outlet claim that West Ham, Brentford, Fulham and Crystal Palace are all potential options for the former Arsenal and Chelsea forward.

The 36-year-old striker scored 90 Premier League goals during his two stints in London with the rival clubs and could prove a useful asset for some teams.

Crystal Palace and West Ham are in particular need for a goalscorer at the their club, having struggled to find the net throughout the season.

He could also be tempted in to a move to Craven Cottage, which would see him reunite with former Chelsea team-mate and Brazilian winger Willian.

Giroud was also linked with a move to Manchester United earlier in the season, prior to the Reds bringing in Wout Weghorst on loan from Burnley.

The Frenchman has enjoyed success in Italy since moving from Stamford Bridge in 2021 and has scored 25 goals in 68 appearances in all competitions.

Most importantly, he played a crucial role in helping AC Milan win the Serie A title during the 2021-22 season.

During his six years at Arsenal, Giroud helped the Gunners win three FA Cups. With Chelsea, he won the FA Cup once more, the Champions League and the Europa League.
