Chelsea flop Romelu Lukaku ridiculed by Inter team-mate for his terrible ball-control

Romelu Lukaku has been ridiculed for his poor ball control by opposing fans during his days at Man United and Chelsea, and suffered the same expression in Inter Milan’s 3-0 win over Sampdoria over the weekend.

This time it was his own teammates instead of fans mocking Romelu Lukaku over his first touch.

Inter Milan beat Sampdoria 3-0 in the Serie A on Saturday with Stefan de Vrij, Nicolo Barella, Joaquín Correa netting in Inter’s home comfortable win.

What has become so significant is Nicolo Barella’s goal that in the process handed Inter Milan a bold lead. The Italian International took to the dugout to celebrate his goal with teammates that comprises of former Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku first time in matchday squad since injuring himself.

Barella mocked Lukaku for his poor ball control.  “I hit him after the goal, I told him that the ball was struck like that,” Barella said after the game.

“I told him see, that’s how you do a first touch! I was joking, we always play around and make fun of each other, it’s a great group of lads and we have a lot of fun.”

Lukaku has scored one goal and assisted once in the league so far. Meanwhile, the Serie A heavyweights have announced new injury of Lukaku on Monday.

“Lukaku underwent medical examinations at the Humanitas Clinic in Rozzano this morning, highlighting a strain in the myocardial scar of the femoral biceps of the left thigh. The player’s condition will be assessed again in the next few days.”
