Pitso Mosimane blamed for Al Ahly players’ poor performance

Former Egypt national team assistant coach Diaa El-Sayed believes that Pitso Mosimane is responsible for Al Ahly players’ poor fitness level.

Mosimane has recently parted ways with Al Ahly, leaving his position to former assistant Samy Komsan.

Komsan started his journey as interim coach with a wide 4-1 victory over Eastern Company, before falling to a 2-2 draw against Zamalek.

Many criticized Samy Komsan after the game, blaming him for Al Ahly players’ poor fitness level, despite only being in charge for a few days.

Diaa El-Sayed defended the newly appointed coach, claiming that Mosimane is the one responsible for Al Ahly players’ current form.

“Al Ahly players appeared in poor shape during the second half, Mosimane is the one to blame for it,” Diaa told Al-Hayah TV channel.

“The game saw a lot of mistakes from both sides. Things like that shouldn’t have happened in such a big game between two big clubs.”
