Kaizer Chiefs could be missing out on this exceptional talent that they have never gotten for decades now. After having the likes of Njabulo Blom who is more robust and Yusuf Maart who is highly characterized for linking plays and long balls, they have rarely had the perfect man to carry the ball and relay the through balls up front.
But they could have solutions to that problem after Ghana Premier League Richard Boadu showing exactly what Kaizer Chiefs need to win the South African league. Kaizer Chiefs should make a move for the Asante Kotoko captain at the end of the season.
Boadu completed an unsurprising transfer from Medeama Sporting Club to Asante Kotoko at the start of last season helping them to lift the Ghana Premier League title first time since 2014.
After struggling to enter into the line-up at the very initial stage of last season, Richard Boadu has never looked back since his integration into Dr. Prosper Narteh’s XI rising to become one of the best ball carriers in Africa.
Boadu has improved on this aspect of his game in the last year. Kaizer Chiefs have went 7 years without a Premier Soccer League title but have managed to come close to winning it last three seasons only losing it to Mamelodi Sundowns in last day of the Dstv Premiership.
The Amakhosi have had one of the best on the pitch achievements in recent years after playing in the Caf Champions League final but lost to Al Ahly in two seasons ago.
Kaizer Chiefs appear to building the momentum to climb to top of South African football but the missing ball carrier has been difference between their recent close attempts and the trophies itself.

It’s understood that at the beginning of the season, Al Hilal launched a double bid to sign the former Medeama SC star and left-back Imoro Ibrahim but the Sudanese side had a breakthrough in Imoro’s deal.
In the course of the ongoing season, Simba SC, who have also shown interest in landing teammate Eric Serge Zeze, will attempt with a January offer but Asante Kotoko may likely to reject Simba’s advances due to their desire to win the Ghana Premier League to go to Africa.
Kaizer Chiefs must be proactive in run for Boadu’s signature. Asante Kotoko are yet to reveal the asking price for the midfielder but amount in the region of $600,000-$1 million could placed on Boadu’s forehead.
