Al Ahly Basketball complete signing of American-Nigerian ace Michael Fakuade for Club Basketball Championship |

Al Ahly have announced the signing of Michael Fakuade to support the team’s ranks in the Arab Club Basketball Championship.

After a disappointing season for Al Ahly’s basketball team with Mário Palma, the club announced ex-Zamalek manager Augustí Julbe Bosch as a new head coach.

With the new coach’s arrival, Al Ahly are trying to strengthen their squad, especially with Arab Club Basketball Championship closing in.

As Augustí started his journey with the Red Devils, he chose Michael Fakuade to join his squad as he previously coached the 32-year-old before in his time with Zamalek.

Fakuade’s new contract with Al Ahly ends after the Arab Club Basketball Championship that will be taking place in Alexandria.

It’s worth noting that Michael has won the inaugural Basketball Africa League with Zamalek four months ago.
