Another Kasi football Star Joins PSL club

One of Soweto’s Kasi football fan favourites has joined the likes of Xolani “BlackBerry” Nkala and Tshepo “Skhwama” Matete at Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in Limpopo.

Banele “Duku-Duku” Sibisi, once on the books of Steenberg United, AmaTuks and Royal Eagles, joins the Venda-based club on a two-year deal.

Dubbed as the most expensive iPhone in the Kasi football circles, Sibisi caught the attention of TTM while at Steenberg and after his impressive performances in local tournaments in and around Gauteng.

The 25-year-old, raring to go, has promised the TTM faithful progressive football with skills and goals.

“I am coachable and can change my game according to what the coach wants, I am creative, and people can expect magic from me at TTM, goals and skills,” Sibisi told the Siya crew.

“Playing in Kasi football tournaments in Soweto helped me a lot in terms of exposure and keeping fit while waiting for another professional deal. I don’t think I would have managed to get a professional team if it wasn’t for the Soweto tournaments as many people watch them, and I got exposure,” he added.

“I believe I have a lot to offer, and this is a good opportunity for me to display my talent. I am very excited and looking forward to the new challenge.”
