Al Ahly are in search of victory in the CAF Champions League group stages. The Egyptians lost their opening game against Al Hilal and were forced to a 2-2 draw at home against Mamelodi Sundowns in the second game- a tie they nearly came from a goal down to win but Thapelo Morena’s 80′ minute goal cancelled out El Shahat’s leading goal.

Ahly now welcome Cameroonian giants Coton Sport to the Al-Salam Stadium in a must win third game and if they fail their chances into the knockout phase that is already slim will become slimmer with Sundowns leading Group B table with 7 points and Al Hila follow with 6.

Coton Sport who sit last have lost all their opening two games.
