Kaizer Chiefs has named a competent XI in what is arguably the biggest fixture in the club’s 50-year existence when they face Wydad Casablanca in the first leg of the CAF Champions League.
Kaizer Chiefs booked their place in the group stages of the CAF Champions League for the first time this season. They followed that up with a superb performance in the group stages which led them to the quarterfinals.
The Amakhosi then faced a tricky Simba SC in the last eight but after an incredible four goal demolition job in the first leg in Johannesburg, the Tanzanians were dumped out of the competition.
Next up for Kaizer Chiefs are Moroccan giants and one of the favourites to lift the coveted CAF Champions League in Wydad Athletic Club Casablanca.
