Remo Stars FC arrive in Ghana ahead of CAF Champions League clash against Medeama

Nigerian outfit Remo Stars Football Club have arrived in Gnana’s capital Accra in bid to have good fortune in their CAF Champions League clash against Medeama Sporting Club.

Remo have been preparing for the tough game over two weeks now having had classic training sessions in their base in Nigeria.

They are now getting closer to having their first ever taste of the CAF Champions League with the first leg of the Preliminary round taking place at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Remo Stars face the current best club in Ghana Medeama after beating former champions Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak to the Ghana Premier League title last season.

Hearts won the Ghana Premier League last three seasons and Kotoko lifted, in their first since 2014, last two seasons but Medeama put in hard fought in the turn of last season’s title to become winners and that marks their first ever one in the history of the Ghana Premier League.

Remo Stars FC arrived in Ghana on Saturday morning at the Kotoka International Airport with fly value jet.

They arrived in Ghana with 20 players and other officials, and will travel to Cape Coast this Saturday.
