CAF announce date for Champions League and Confederation Cup Quarter-finals draw |

CAF have announced the date for the quarter-finals draw of the Champions League and Confederation Cup this season.

The current CAF Champions League season has seen Cairo giants Al Ahly and Zamalek struggle in the group stages.

Al Ahly still haven’t secured qualification to the next round with one fixture remaining against Al Hilal while Zamalek suffered an early exit as they are third in Group D with just three points from three draws after failing to earn a win after in games.

On the other hand, both Egyptian sides in the CAF Confederation Cup have booked a spot in the competition’s quarter-finals.

Pyramids are currently Group A’s runners up and in contention with Al Ahli Tripoli for the group’s top spot while Al Masry lead their group with 10 points, two ahead of TP Mazembe.

The draw for the quarter-finals will take place on Tuesday, April 5th at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, set to begin at 15:00 CLT.
