Real Madrid plotting another raid on Chelsea less than a year after signing Eden Hazard from Stamford Bridge

Real Madrid took one of Chelsea’s brightest assets last summer after completing £150million transfer for Belgium super star Eden Hazard.

Chelsea have not yet fill the vacuum created by the departure of their former no.10 despite the inclusion of American super star Christian Pulisic showing glimpses of a positive thing in the future.

The former Borussia Dortmund winger has been impressive for Chelsea though, netting 12 goals and 4 assists including a memorable hat trick against Burnley in the Premier League,  but still lag behind the performances Hazard demonstrated at Chelsea during his seven at West London.

Loosing Hazard is a thing no Chelsea fan would ever wanted to experience, and the Belgian’s absence is a thing that will require much longer time for Chelsea to do away, but less than a year after signing the former Lille play-maker, Real Madrid are planning another raid on the Premier League side.

The Los Blancos have been monitoring N’Golo Kante’s situation at Chelsea, that is,  for the past two months after appearing that the Spanish giants have targeted the French ace as replacement for Brazilian destroyer Casemiro, claimed by Mundo Deportivo.

Kante, 29, has been exceptional for Chelsea since his arrival from Leicester City in July 2016, winning the Premier League title and PFA Players’ Player of the Year for his first year at Stamford Bridge.

But he has been limited this season as far as playing time is concern due to consistent injuries, despite this, going on to appear 18 times in the English Premier League.

Report from 90Min claim that the 2018 World Cup winner has emerged as a target for Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane who has for the past two months keeping eyes on happenings inside Stamford Bridge regarding Kante’s future.

The Santiago Bernabeu boss is reportedly planning to recruit French players to his squad next season that’s according to 90Min, and Kante is the man to fill his demanding defensive midfield position.

Meanwhile, there is already a positive news for Zidane as Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is ready to offload Kante if potential suitors including Madrid offers the right price- considered to be around £75million.

Against this backdrop, Lampard have spotted Miralem Pjanic, Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-savic and West Ham midfielder Declan Rice as potential replacements for the French International if the right price meant he leaves Stamford Bridge for Santiago Bernabeu next season.
