Liverpool could see Timo Werner transfer breakthrough after Klopp calling player on phone

Werner is undoubtedly one of the best strikers in Germany and Europe, and his consistency in front of goal since last season has alerted a host of clubs and now craving for the German International’s tangible presence in their clubs.

The reports via the Express claim that Klopp has told Werner his (Klopp) plans for the club, his project and outlined individual plans for Werner. That could include information on where he fits in to the current set up.

This strategy has been adopted by klopp and deployed in signing several top targets including Virgil van Dijk and Sadio Mane.

Meanwhile, Chelsea feel confident of stealing Werner’s signature from the Premier League rivals, and are believed to have contacted representatives of Werner ahead of a summer move to Stamford Bridge.
