Arsenal chasing Bayer Leverkusen star Moussa Diaby as Gunners contact agent

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is looking to add to his attacking options in the summer transfer window and the Gunners have contacted the agent of Bayer Leverkusen star Moussa Diaby about his availability.

Diaby, former Paris Saint Germain youth player completed a move to the Bundesliga side last summer and has shine in his debut season in German.

He has found his name on the score sheet five times and provided eight assists in 27 appearances in all competitions this season.

Having started his campaign at BayArena well, which is not so straightforward for a new and young player in the Bundesliga, the coronavirus suspension has affected the French’s sharpness.

However, Diaby impressed in Leverkusen’s 4-1 win over Werder Bremen in Monday night football, assisting team-mates twice in the latest victory.

It has been reported by French publication Le10sport that Arsenal have contacted Diaby’s representatives about client’s availability and planning to open official negotiations with Leverkusen.

The North London giants could enter in competition with Borussia Dortmund as the German club have also enquired about Diaby’s availability claimed by Le10sport.

Despite Dortmund interest, Arsenal could still beat Dortmund to the signing of the French winger due to Gunners excellent relations with Diaby’s agent.
