Tottenham reach agreement in principle to sign Richarlison

Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur have reached agreement to sign Richarlison from Everton with the Brazilian appearing Spur’s fourth summer signing.

Richarlison,  is scheduled to undergo a medical in Brazil today after Tottenham Hotspur reached an agreement in principle with Everton over his signing, The Athletic understands.

Talks between Tottenham and Everton will continue today over the final price for Richarlison.

Subject to those conversations, Tottenham are expected to pay a figure in the region of £50 million for Richarlison.

The north London side could pay an extra £10 million in add-ons to bring the total fee to around £60 million.

Personal terms are believed to be in place.

The Athletic reported on Tottenham’s interest in Richarlison earlier this month.

The Brazilian has been at Everton since 2018 but is now hoping to test himself on the European stage.

Tottenham would give Richarlison the platform to do just that as Conte’s side qualified for the Champions League by finishing in fourth place last season.

Richarlison, who has been capped 36 times by Brazil, has scored 53 goals in 152 games since joining Everton from Watford for £51 million.

He scored 10 goals in 30 Premier League games last season to help Everton stay in the top flight.

Richarlison will follow Yves Bissouma, Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic in joining Tottenham ahead of the new campaign.
