MTN FA Cup Round 16 draw taking place on Tuesday as Hearts of Oak to learn opponents

The MTN FA Cup draw for round 16 will be held this morning with some interesting and mouthwatering pairings expected to determine the next fixtures in the league cup.

Defending champions Hearts of Oak cruised into this stage with a 5-2 humiliating victory over lower tier side Golden Kicks FC, however their rivals and current GPL leaders, Asante Kotoko suffered a first round eviction from the competition.

The short ceremony as usual, will be held at the premises of the tournament’s broadcasters StarTimes, and is likely to be held in the studios of Max TV.
Nine clubs from the Ghana Premier League are still in the competition and will be in the balloting alongside six first division clubs with just one from the second division which is Kumawuman FC who knocked out Asokwa Deportivo in the last round.
