Hearts coach Samuel Boadu switches attention to WAFA game after Legon Cities draw

Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu says his team will bounce back against WAFA on matchday 19 fixture of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians are winless in their last four games in the ongoing campaign.

Legon Cities denied Hearts of Oak their first win in four games on Saturday at the El Wak Sports Stadium.

Hearts of Oak scored early in the game through Isaac Mensah before Osman Amadu got the equalizer late game.

Coach Samuel Boadu has turned his attention to their next home game against WAFA, as he eyes a win.

“We will go back to the drawing board and revise our notes to make sure we get the win against WAFA. A win is not negotiable because we need to win games”, he told StarTimes.

The defending champions are currently 14 points behind league leaders Asante Kotoko on the league table.

The Phobians are seventh in the league log with 26 points after 18 games.

Hearts of Oak’s game against WAFA has been rescheduled due to their engagement in the President Cup against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko.
