Former GPL top shot-stopper Felix Annan eyes Black Stars return after coming back to active football

Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan is hoping to make a return to the Black Stars after returning to active football.

The 27-year-old parted ways with former club Asante Kotoko to concentrate on family duties.

Annan recently signed a contract with American side Maryland Bobcats FC and has returned to active football.

He has made two appearances for the club since joining them in the transfer window.

Speaking in an interview, the former WAFA goalkeeper is happy to get more playing time and is hoping the technical team of the Black Stars will monitor his exploits with the new club.

“I understand because sometime ago I was earning a call-up every time but little changes happened because I was not having enough playing time. I was out for a while. It is my dream to work very hard and get back to the Black Stars. For now, I thank God that is back and playing again. I will just do my best and if the time comes I will be happy to come when they see that I am doing a great job. I am very ready to come back and serve the nation of Ghana.”

Felix Annan made three appearance for the Black Stars team and was part of Ghana’s team at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
