Justice Blay tipped for Ghana Premier League best Player of the season, according to Sports Broadcaster Kwabena Yeboah
Asante Kotoko workaholic midfielder Justice Blay has been described as Ghana Premier League best player so far, and that is the view of famous Ghanaian Sports Pundit and President of the Sports Writers’ Association of Ghana (SWAG).
Blay is currently on loan at Baba Yara from Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC, which Asante Kotoko are reported in negotiations with the Tarkwa based side to make Blay’s stay permanent.
The Kotoko Super Star has been exceptional so far this term, scoring two goals, one which was the fastest and first goal of the Ghana Premier League season, and has made an assist together with his incomparable tackles and distance covered on the pitch so far.
Blay’s performance has caught the eye of famous Sports Broadcaster Kwabena Yeboah, who he described Blay as ‘my player of the season’ in an interview with Accra based Radio Station Joy FM.
Kwabena Yeboah said to the Radio Station that, “Adebayor has been brilliant but Justice Blay of Kotoko has been my player of the season so far. He’s absolutely brilliant.
Before Justice Blay came in mind of Kwabena Yeboah, Aduana Stars striker Yahaya Mohamed and Victorien Adebayor of Inter Allies may have been considered by Kwabena Yeboah (“The Writer” by popular name in Ghana Sports) as the best player in the Ghana Premier League.
Yahaya Mohamed is the leading top scorer of the league now, registering 8 goals and Adebayor has managed to find back of the net in same occasion in 9 league appearances.
