Former legend tips Asante Kotoko to win against Hearts of Oak on Sunday

Former Hearts and Kotoko playmaker, Charles Taylor has predicted that Asante Kotoko will beat Hearts of Oak in the week 7 outstanding match encounter of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors have an advantage heading into this super clash having found their rhythm this season, pummeling and bathing any Premier side that comes their way with goals.

Speaking ahead of the game, Charles Taylor has disclosed that courage and boldness counts when it comes to Hearts and Kotoko games.

“You need courage and boldness to excel in Kotoko versus Hearts games,” he told Akoma FM.

“Even though many people say that such games are won or lost devoid of form, I think form plays a role at times.

“On the basis of form, you can say Kotoko will win. The two Cameroonians will be crucial for Kotoko. They make half chances count.

“Hearts will come with aggression but I believe if any of the sides will win, it will be Asante Kotoko,” he added.

Asampong who was nicknamed “The Terrible Terror” Taylor due to his brutal shots and goal scoring prowess is widely known by most Ghanaian football fans, having played for the two giants Hearts of Oak and Kotoko including the senior national team, Black Stars.

Taylor was also part of the ‘Phobians’ 64 Battalions that clinched the CAF Champions League 22 years ago.
