Hearts of Oak fight back to draw 2-2 with Dreams FC

Hearts of Oak came from two goals down to earn a hard fought 2-2 draw with Dreams FC in a thrilling week 8 tie of the Ghana Premier League.
The visitors, Dreams FC were off but made good use of their first dangerous incursion after David Van Djik scored on the 14th minute to put them in front.
Just two minutes after, Junior Kaaba won the host a free kick after he was fouled by Ofori McCarthy but the resulting kick was wide.
The ‘Phobians’ settled in the game subsequently and created so many chances but couldn’t make it count.
In the second half, just three minutes from the break, David Van Djik scored again to double the lead for the ‘Still Believe’ lad.
Quick response from Hearts of Oak after Kwadwo Obeng Junior crafted in a beautiful cross but met no connection and went out.
The homesters finally pulled one back after the visitors scored into their own net following a constant pressure from the home side.
Just and when Dreams FC thought they were winning, Benjamin Yorke scored with a powerful hit to get Hearts back on level and that’s how it ended.
Hearts of Oak failed to make it into the four as they currently sit 5th on the table with 13 points whiles Dreams FC remains in the danger zone.
