Kotoko boss Maxwell Konadu reveals club in talks with transfer targets

Kotoko boss Maxwell Konadu has revealed that Kotoko are still in talks to get their transfer targets signed during the second transfer window in Ghana.

Kotoko have already signed Nkoranza Warriors duo Kwame Opoku and Emmanuel Sarkodie but they continue to be linked with a host of players.

The Ghanaian tactician has revealed that his side are still in talks with transfer those targets but couldn’t mention names due to the stage of the talks which are not at most advanced stage.

“We are still in talks but once it’s not completed we can’t disclose anything. We are talking to one or two players,” he told FootballMadeInGhana.

“A lot of people are speculating about players I’ve not even heard of but once it’s not done we cannot let it out. We have a lot of competitors in the system.”

If reports in Ghana are anything to go by, Karela United midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh is close to joining the Porcupine Warriors as the midfielder is one of the targets the Porcupine Warriors are negotiating terms with.

Rivals Hearts of Oak are also linked with Keyekeh but Kotoko have beaten the Phobians to the player’s signature and the Kumasi based club will announce the signing of Keyekeh very soon as claimed by Kumasi radio station FOX FM.
