Ghanaian Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo Prampram, Samuel Nartey George has expressed disappointment with Ghana’s defeat to Uruguay in the final Group H match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Reacting to the result, the lawmaker says it is important that Executives of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) stop interfering in player selection for the Black Stars.

According to him, the Black Stars also need a proper coach to handle the team with good technical know-how.

“Four take aways from this defeat;

“We need a proper coach with technical know how

“The GFA Executives need to stop interfering in team selection

“Even if we lost, we are going home with Uruguay

“Now can our government officials come back home to their real jobs,” Sam George said in a post on his Twitter page.

Ghana crashed out of the tournament alongside Uruguay. Despite beating the Black Stars, the Uruguayans still fell short on the Group H standings.
