Legon Cities FC boss Goran Barjaktarevic eye good results against WAFA despite having respect for the Sogakpkpe based side

Legon Cities FC boss Goran Barjaktarevic has insisted his side will get the best of results against West African Football Academy (WAFA) when the two sides meet tomorrow evening at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Legon Cities enter Week 13 of the Ghana Premier League with a difficult game against WAFA, and Cities manager believes they ‘are not afraid of WAFA’ and hopes to get ‘the best of results’ against their opponents in Friday night.

“We’re not afraid of WAFA, we will try our best to approach the game with our idea of play. We will do everything possible to get the best results [a win] on Friday. We need a win, nothing else. We will go all out. We’re hungry”, Barjaktarevic said in Pre-Match conference.

Legon Cities are unbeaten in their last five games and the latest four have all ended in a draw for the Accra based side.

WAFA have similar results having won a game and drew four previous games in a total of last five Ghana Premier League outings.

They have lost just a game in the season, making the only club to have the lowest defeat record, followed by Elmina Sharks who have recorded two defeats.

This makes Cities coach Goran Barjaktarevic donate a full heart to the Sogakokpe base club for their good work done in the ongoing league.

“WAFA are a good side, they work very hard & also they’re very organized. They’ve produced very good young players for the past 5-6 years. They’re able to start their matches with 2-3 options. I have a lot of respect for them.” He added.
