Kotoko new signing Muniru Sulley set to train with new teammates this week

Muniru Sulley, junior brother of former Ghana Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari has arrived in Ghana ahead of beginning training with Asante Kotoko teammates.

Muniru, 28, landed Ghana on last Monday and will fly to Kumasi tomorrow Wednesday to join teammates in preparations for the new season that starts this weekend.

The former FC Tambov and Yeni Matalyaspor midfielder joined the Porcupine Warriors on a two-year contract on transfer deadline day but has not been integrated into his new setup.

The talented attacking midfileder is one of several players that has decided to give the Ghana Premier League a return in a bid to relaunch their careers.

He is expected to go through his mandatory medical examination upon his arrival in Kumasi before starting training.

Muniru started his football career with Liberty Professionals before joining Romanian giants CFR Cluj In 2013.
