Al Hilal appoint Hamada Sedky as manager after sacking Salah Adam following Ahly’s CAF Champions League defeat

Sudanese side Al Hilal have appointed Hamada Sedky as their new manager less than a week after their defeat against Al Ahly.

Al Hilal suffered a 2-1 defeat against Egyptian champions, Al Ahly, in the CAF Champions League on Friday.

Following their defeat, Al Hilal sacked their manager Salah Adam despite being second in Group B.

Hamada Sedky is now set to take over Al Hilal after having stints at multiple Egyptian Premier League sides, including Enppi, Wadi Degla, Smouha, and Ittihad of Alexandria.

The 58-year-old last managed El-Gouna between 2018 and 2019 helping the newly-promoted side avoid relegation in their first season in the top flight.
