The 28-year-old suffered a last minute injury ruling him out of the clash, but that did not stop him from following the team.

Although, he was receiving treatment at the medical center of Arsenal, the midfield ace watched the team draw 1-1 on Thursday.

Partey’s absence created a big void in the middle of the park, as the Black Stars struggled to build up from defence to attack.

He will also miss the final game against South Africa on Sunday, as the Black Stars chase a play-offs spot.

Ghana must beat the Bafana Bafana, who sit top of the table with 13, and are three points adrift of Ghana.

The Black Stars missed the World Cup in 2018 and are hoping to make a return to the mundial in Qatar 2022.
