Cosmos Dauda would welcome opportunity to Hearts of Oak return

Former Hearts of Oak striker Cosmos Dauda has revealed the intent to return the Ghana Premier League side when the opportunity presents itself.

Dauda spent two seasons for Hearts before leaving for Al-Faisaly in 2018 but completed a move to Lebanese side Salam Zgharta in 2019.

The 26-year-old scored 8 goals in 21 appearances for Hearts in the Ghana Premier League before he departed the Accra based side, and will welcome to opportunity to play for Hearts.

“Hearts of Oak is a big club and I will always remain grateful to the club,” he told Asempa FM.

“I was destined to play for the club. I gave my best when I played for the club.

“I will always welcome the opportunity to play for the club again. I know at the right time, I will return to the club again,” he added.

Dauda eventually walked into the hearts of Hearts fans after leading the Phobians to beat Medeama Sporting Club at the TN&A Park in 2016, after opening the score in Hearts’ 2-0 triumph.

However, he never won the title with Hearts despite dreaming to be crowned champions of the Ghana Premier League.

“Of course, we are all dreaming of being crowned champions and that is possible but how we perform in the second round,” Dauda told Graphic Sports

“I know we have the team to challenge for the league title and we are ready to take every match at a time and treat it important,”
